Jinzo 9,639
The day I find gaga's voice unpleasant I'll unstan ha and move on with my life thank God that day hasn't come and most likely never will
djBuffoon 12,120
Her voice has more depth and character now. I'd prefer that over typical light and sweet pop vocals.
Laceface 2,964
Maybe not as far as unpleasant but it changed after the Dope-esque vocals in the ARTPOP era. It's lower & drones slightly, I think it was a conscious decision to sing that way though. This is like the best ever. The Cure vocals are beautiful but it does sound like she has a cold/her nose is blocked.

The whole thing sounds like a bad attempt at sounding like Ariana Grande. The other day Gaga played after an Ariola Granola track on the radio and I noticed Gaga was trying to copy Ariola's vocals on the track too. Lextyr97 19,953
I had to acknowledge a bs warning point (thanks a damn lot Haroon) to comment on this to say that you're crazy af. Gaga knows how to switch it the **** up. Did y'all just forget about the sound of music? Or how she sounded light years better singing Fame era songs and Born this way at the superbowl? AVeryGagaHolyDick 25,452
I like this voice more. I wish she sang the Joanne album with this new voice
PerfectIllusion 6,616
She sounds more jazzy now. I think she really likes that But shes not using that technic all the time, here for example she sounds better than ever:
ShockPop 7,747
It's the smoking. My voice used to do it but since I stopped smoking my voice has been shot. Ironic. For Gaga it adds texture, a sultry jazzy tone. It's because she's pushing a little extra air out but keeps her voice placement in the wrong place. Bolkins 4,125
I prefer her voice now, its clear that the lower register she sings in these days is what comes the most naturally to her and it seems to work better for building into the higher notes. Back in the day she used to struggle with singing some her own songs because used to start too high and then try to belt into ranges she couldn't quite reach. TEOG is a good example of how she's improved, compare the Coachella version to the 2011 Howard Stern version. Not the bore worms!
