It's unique for the artist that released it; it was different from everything in the pop scene at its time, and most importantly, a step forward for the artist both sonically and thematically - let's face it, most of Gaga's previous works dealt with fame, and it was getting a tad old at this point. Just about every other female album released from 2016 to now is better than LFL minus Witness and Glory. I only like 3 or 4 songs of Joanne, but LFL is a masterpiece. When The World Was At War, Heroin and Change alone are better than any album released in the past year.
