Also for the month of October; I think it would be cool for us to do a rabb.it horror movie stream at least once a week. I'd like to host the 1st week and show you guys John Dies at the End.

yes!!! please keep me updated I am 100% up for this (providing it's at a reasonable time for me haha)

Have y'all seen this? It's older and has cheesy moments but I have to watch it every year, one of my favorites and I didn't see it mentioned.

Love this movie; a great anthology.

I saw Annabelle: Creation this past weekend! I loved it! I'm also really looking forward to "The Nun" movie!

I still wanna see it; I'm really excited for The Nun. I love Taissa Farmiga and still shook she's playing the title role. James Wan has now worked with both talented, Farmiga sisters. :tony:

My body is ready; I high hopes for this season of AHS. I think it's going to suspenseful, creepy, and polished. And It is one of my most anticipated films this year; I hope to it this weekend or next.

I will; I only like watching horror movies when it's dark outside or in a dark theater room so it'll probably be during the weekend and start around 6-8 pm EST which is 11pm-1am GMT if I'm not mistaken.

Yes! I remember when that it was in production hell for years and it's finally coming out and yeah I had a feeling that the reviews were gonna be great if they stool to the source material (which I believe they did) :tony:

I'm so excited for Cult of Chucky :toofunny: No one understands my love for the Child's Play franchise. Also, does anyone know if there's been any updates on the new Halloween movie?

I'm going to Universal Horror Nights in a couple weeks, my wig's been glued.

Kinda excited for Leatherface! Just read the Dread Central review.  Seems pretty nasty!  Jigsaw looks cool also.  The Saw movies got pretty silly but really fun with gross kills.  That's all I want from Jigsaw.

Review, Short, Trailer, and Release Update

Temple = 8.5/10 (available to rent on VOD platforms)

A J-Horror inspired film about 3 friends that visit a haunted temple in a village in Japan; made by the people behind You're Next. It was pretty good, I was engaged the whole time. The acting was on par; maybe not the characters themselves. They made kinda stupid decisions and their backgrounds were pretty cliche. The story was interesting but had a couple predictable devices and left a couple of plot holes. The cinematography, atmosphere, scares, and special effects were probably the best elements. Overall it was a short and sweet flick that could used a little more polishing.

American Horror Story: Cult - Election Night = 8.5/10

I thought this was a prime AHS episode; maybe not the best but it really exemplified AHS' motifs. The great acting, the diverse, yet quirky characters, the paranoia/dementedness, and a dramatic storyline. I also loved the hints of humor.

I really excited and happy Evan will be in the forefront this season. He's so talented and has always been AHS' underdog.

Spoiler

I think Winter and Kai are part of the cult or want to join/create the cult and use Oz for it. That's why Winter got the babysitting job.

I think Ivy has cheated on Ally or will cheat on/leave Ally.

I think Oz is Ally's biological son, which could explain why he saw the creepy clown killers; like she did.

I don't really like that Colton is playing a detective with bleached hair. He doesn't fit the detective look; he's too young looking. And a detective wouldn't have bleached hair; it makes them standout too much. I don't know if I'll be able to him seriously.

I remember Ryan saying this will a twisted love story between Kai and Ally; so I'm excited to how that plays out.

Security, A Dark Song, The Atoning, and The Basement are available on VOD platforms.

Modern Ecstacy

Just watched "IT" and I was totally disappointed. Such a sh*tty movie. It was just plain bad in my opinion

Has anyone else watched it? What did you guys think of it?

It was good in my opinion. They did miss some marks of the original one(like the whole comedic take on Pennywise vs the creepy jumpscary type in this movie),but it is overall a good movie!

What disappointed you about it(not attacking, just curious )

Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams.

I felt like everything was just all over the place. Just random things happening without hardly any context.

The whole part where they go into the haunted house (the first time) was just sooo typical and stereotypical for a horror movie. Like how they got separated from each other and then the whole "we have to stay together and not let IT divide us" was so cheesy and cringeworthy.

So many things were unexplained and just kinda happened randomly. It just felt like so many things stayed underdeveloped. It was a very strange movie for me.
