When she saw how corrupt the DNC was to Bernie, she stepped down from her DNC Chair position. She has been gaining traction lately in the news and some Republicans like her because of her anti intervention policy, bipartisan bills she has introduced, and her being a war veteran (Republicans love that). She also is not viewed by Conservatives as a 'crazy liberal' like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. She was the first Democrat to meet Trump after he won and calls Trump out for his hypocrisy. She is young, passionate, has experience, and a website was even created to encourage her to run called Run Tulsi Run. This Reddit I found shows why she is a great choice! She is for: Restoration of the Glass-Steagall act Social liberty (freedom from sexual, gender, racial or religious discrimination) Right to abortion Single payer healthcare Relaxation of the tourism visa process Marijuana legalization Tax incentives for renewable energy Tax incentives for job creation Environmental protection Federal stimulus spending Veteran aid (she is a veteran herself) Breaking up big banks and creating more banking competition Raising the minimum wage Net neutrality She is against: TPP Money in politics Prolonged wars in the Middle East and a no-fly zone in Syria Dakota Access Pipeline and similar other projects NSA data collection without a warrant Relations with the Saudi theocracy AT&T/Time Warner merger Expansion of military spending Even a Libertarian, Right Wing website agrees Tulsi will be the next president! https://beinglibertarian.com/democrat-tulsi-gabbard-will-likely-next-president/ Corporate, Wall Street funded Democrats like Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Cuomo, and others will run and try to slander Tulsi, but I think Tulsi's experience, speeches, and great record will let Tulsi prevail and become the next nominee. She is so great on foreign policy .Looks like she has a great heart and is a brave woman ,but she is only one of the few good ones in the congress ,the rest are sell outs This is a bill that both conservatives and liberals need to get behind. Thank you Tulsi Gabbard. You should that there are still some descent politicians in government Tulsi one of a very few dems (and cons) making perfect sense. She was only against it before she was a Democrat Representative because her father was a Senator who was against it.
