I think that when RoL is good its GREAT and when its weaker ('Mer Girl') its really boring... but that owes a lot to the fact that William Orbit stuck to a cohesive sound - so it doesn't bend too far out of itself. I strongly recommend listening to the radio edits you'll find on GHV2 (Madonnas second greatest hits album) they add a little spice and take away some of the length - 'Frozen' and 'To Have and Not To Hold' are 10/10 in my eyes. ROL is good when its good but its missss are a bore

britneyspears 497
Ray of Light is easily the best album ever by a female artist. There are no lows. I would say that 1989 is so overrated, especially considering Carly Rae Jepsen did 80s pop a LOT better. Queen of the Clouds was also not worth anything more than a 4/10. And Honeymoon was overrated, since it's not even her best album and was actually kinda boring in comparison to her others.

This. The only part of The album I really like and listen to regularly is from track 6 to 11. I appreciate how cohesive the whole project is but it doesnt change the fact that the rest of the tracks are very boring (for me). But still I think the production and the lyrics are really Good so i dont think it should be labeled as overrated. This is why I say COADF is a better album imo because it still has a main element which the whole album is built around(disco) But still every track has a different vibe and even The weaker parts of the album are enjoyable. The non-stop remix version is pure heaven.

Oriane 21,163
Discovery - Daft Punk I haven't listened to a lot of albums but I recently listened to some critically acclaimed albums. I'm not a fan of some of them like The Wall by the Pink Floyd or The Doors by the eponym band but I respect the artists. The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic!
