Can I get an opinion on some of my song writing (I want to be a singer :) ) The most recent song I wrote is called Bubbles, although the title has still made no appearance in the rest of the song ( :toofloppy: ) Verse 1: When my pillow is wet with all my tears, Shed by all of my unspoken fears Then maybe, i'll think it's time Time to go out and dance tonight Pre-Chorus: I'm alone, I'm alone But I'm not going home It's too late, to late to look back So I'll turn off the phone Chorus: And I'll fade away I'll let my hips free to sway I'm leaving from the grey But when the sun comes up I'll realize , that maybe the party was too much. I have a different song I would love opinions on. There are no vocals yet, either, for this song. It's like a teen angst rock ballad performed by a reggae artist covered by an indy rock band. My head exploded. Anywho, I'm looking for an instrumentalist/producer and vocalist... well, basically, I'm looking to put together a creative hub of collaborators. You know like Xenomania, The Doo-wops, etc etc. A small team of creative collaborative minds that have the whole package to put out there - writing, instrumental, production, vocal - in order to dip our toes in the pond of the music world and just create something beautiful. I write (obviously) and I play piano and stuff, but it would all be done as one big thing together, so if you think something sounds good instead of a line, we can try it out, and vice versa. I play piano, a bit of guitar, I do some production, I write, but I do not under any circumstances wish to inflict my voice upon the world haha. Ideally, a group of 3 or 4 would be brilliant - I have a few written and part-written projects we could start with to see if we gel. To be clear, this is not a performance group, just a behind-the-scenes group... like.. an invisible band, so to speak. I think it would be interesting, a group of Gaga fans collaborating on something like this - creative minds and such. Hit me up, peopleskis. A little about my style - I write about anything and everything. I once wrote a song about a cabbage haha it was a telephone parody, but you get my point. I'm pretty versatile. I'm thinking of taking the 'ideals' that we'd have for a pop record from an idol (Gaga or not) and turning it into something real.
