Insinuated by whom? the only place where I've seen these claims is here just because David never mentioned her name publicly. Also, Duncan is Duncan, he doesn't speak for his father. All I hope is that he at least respected her and liked her as a person. I understand if he didn't like the music or style but I can't imagine him not liking her as a person cuz she is so loving also I can't imagine him hating her as a talent cuz she is even then known for being exceptional.
