Adorn is already out, but he's releasing a version with Jessie Ware. Should go top 20

Adorn won't do anything, the Naughty Boy/Em Sande song should go top 5

^ Is her biggest competition. Strong radio backing, doing brilliantly on pre-orders + there's a fake version of it charting on itunes

Unless I'm really underestimating this, isn't Gaga popular enough to outsell it, even with an on-air-on-sale release?

If Applause is super radio friendly, then yeah, I do think she stands a good chance of outselling it. It's gonna be a close battle, though.

Emile Sande/Naughty Boy's new one, and Miguel's Adorn

Adorn is being released in the UK NOW? What the hell? It's been out for like over a year. :rip: Damn, they really waited on this one.

I also came to ask for the latest sales figures for Cheryl's 3 solo albums. I'm really getting into her right now and I want to know how much her albums have sold in the UK.

Is she all that popular in the UK? It seems to me like only her lead singles do well now since her second singles from her 2nd and 3rd albums failed to go Top 10 and A Million Lights didn't do all that well sales-wise.

Approximate figures:

3 Words - 1,000,000

Messy Little Raindrops - 500,000

A Million Lights - 250,000

Her lead singles all went to #1 because she usually gets a great source of promotion and radio always supports her lead offering. But after that, she just stops promoting and everyone stops caring. She's also really lucky to release them on weeks where there's no competition. Her three lead singles are the only ones that have had any sort of fame or longevity here (and even then, the only song everyone, even non fans recognise, is Fight For This Love which remains her biggest seller to date and her most watched music video). She got a lot of success in the early days because she was on X Factor and had so much hype going for her and a lot of people got caught up in that, which was why her debut did so well. But over time, the public realised that she was all hype and by her third album, she had left X Factor, been fired from X Factor US and her profile was at an all time low and no one except her small diehard fanbase cared anymore. If she ever releases another album again, she'll be lucky to hit 100k and she may scrape a top ten lead single at best. Yes, at her peak, Cheryle was by far one of the UK's biggest celebrities but the thing is, her hype alone was what made her a really popular, so when she was no longer a part of companies who provided that hype, she inevitably started to fall into obscurity and the public moved on. Put it this way - she released a biography in 2010, and a year and a half later, it was reduced from £14.99 to £1 in B&M bargain bins. As much as I dislike her and her music, I will note that her albums have got progressively better, which oddly enough, is causes them to sell less and less.

Oh my. Guess she was just more of a media staple than anything else and most of that media came from X Factor. :rip:

Welp. That's all I needed to know.

On a side note, I really like your elaborate answers every time I ask a question in this thread.

Poor Ellie. Moved her song up to avoid competing with Gaga. Burn was a lock for #1.

Now she's getting some real competition.
