Pink really is one of the most talented and edgy mainstream artists around. Underrated!
CoolTrainerTerry 1,306
Who wants a typical or expected song from an artist when it's a lead single? That's when you want to be the most daring and prove your musical progression between albums, the hype will help balance out any commercial decline from experimental injections into a track. I suppose that's why she's forgettable in the pop scene, similar to Rihanna. Uh...not forgettable, underrated until recently.

Speaking of Rihanna, the only Rihanna album I own is Rated R because it deviates from her typical sound. Russian Roulette was the lead single and a risky one at that. It only managed to peak at #9 and sold 850K in the US only. But still a magnificent song.
Americano 31,061
Uh...not forgettable, underrated until recently. What changed? No one even lists her off when people talk about the top pop stars of any year. She could have 800 hits and people still would be like. "Lady Gaga.. Katy Perry.. Rihanna... Britney" Edited July 3, 2012 by Americano
CoolTrainerTerry 1,306
She didn't really reach her peak until 'So What' and then it seemed like everyone loved her.

Klou 2,414
Just listened to it. I find it to be annoying and headache-inducing. The chorus is way too pitched, sounds like a Kelly Clarkson song gone-wrong. 1 out of 5 stars. It will be a hit regardless, as it's a lead single from a rather established pop act. Umm no... That's pretty dramatic. Besides the shriek in the chorus, the song sounds well done to me. From what I'm seeing so far it seems to be pretty well received. Ozzy8923 9
Yeah, Rated R is definitely her best album. I think if she's remembered for anything, it'll be that era. Yes, many people who aren't a fan/stan of Rihanna love that album (myself included). I was very impressed with the imagery, the music videos, the themes in all of the songs, the diversity in the songs, and Rihanna's rather impressive vocals in most songs (in others..... :pukey: ). Ozzy8923 9
If she had more daring eras like that, she'd be a more acclaimed act. Hence, one of the reasons why I stan for Gaga. She isn't afraid of a daring era.

Oh nope, never said that. Regardless, I think the song is pretty good. I don't think I'll be downloading it, but I'll look forward to hearing it on the radio.
