Outside of the murder claims, if you just take the robbery charge, 9 years is enough. The sentences in the usa are way too high. Someone commits a robbery gets nine years for stealing a couple hundreads but when bank steal millions, CEOs are fired with a multi million severance package and rarely do time in jail

Because celebrities have the power to avoid severe punishment and that differentiates them from the normal person.

Either way, imo, this guy should have never been released from prison because he murdered two people.

In my messy era.

He was not convicted for murder tho, he was convicted for robbery and kidnapping, 9 years is plenty of time for that, even too much if you ask me. You cant judge someone based on the crimes he was accused of many years ago, especially if not guilty, thats not how the criminal justice system works. Celebrity or not thats how it works. You can only judge someone based on cold hard facts (when it comes to criminal justice anyway).

I'm sorry, but kidnapping is a severe crime that shouldn't be taken lightly. A life-time of trauma could very well have impacted the victims. I agree that 9 years for robbery is ridiculously long, but definitely not long enough for robbery AND A KIDNAPPING in my honest opinion

It was the right decision.

He served more than the appropriate time for the crime that he committed, and they cannot take into account his trial/crimes from 1995/1996. That has nothing to do with what he was imprisoned for.

The man deserves to rot in jail for what he did to Nicole. Unfortunately, that ship has sailed.

Its a shame to see him paroled, but the board made it very clear that he would be sent straight back to jail if he stepped one toe out of line.

Honestly, I'm shocked that they paroled him given the fact that he was delusional and didn't accept any responsibility for his actions during his statement.

I never said he did not do it, i said the murder was not taken into consideration for his parole since he was never convicted, im only explaining how parole works, since i work in the criminal justice system

He's so broke though.  He owes a lot of money to people.  I doubt he will be able to enjoy his life lol.  It has to be hard going to from a high profile millionaire celebrity to having such a low net worth.  I need to watch that show though.  Heard it's good!
