Omg it doesnt feel real. Watching icons like this go is shocking. Its like they've been there during your childhood and you are used to the feeling that they will always be there. RIP

This is absolutely awful and comes a week after my Dad committed suicide 4 years ago , so this all is kinds of triggering. He actually liked them too. I was a fan and I'm crying for all the reason as stated above. Ugh.  I feel for his family because as someone who has been in this side, it's ****ing surreal and confusing.

This has brought out all the feelings ugh

I'm honestly heartbroken. A brilliant writer and underrated singer who saved the lives of countless teenagers on the edge from the early 00s onwards.

I am truly stunned.

If I could change, I would, take back the pain, I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made, I would
If I could stand up and take the blame, I would
If I could take all the shame to the grave, I would
If I could change, I would, take back the pain, I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made, I would
If I could stand up and take the blame, I would
If I would take all the shame to the grave

It's easier to run
Replacing this pain with something numb
It's so much easier to go
Than face all this pain here all alone

my teen years were so depressing and lonely. thank you chester :cryga:

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington has reportedly committed suicide at age 41, according to TMZ. TMZ reports Bennington hanged himself at a Palos Verdes Estates residence in L.A. County. Billboard has reached out to reps for the band and authorities for confirmation. Los Angeles County coroner's office confirmed to Billboard there was a death on Bennington's Palos Verdes block on the morning of Thursday, July 20.

Bennington struggled with drug and alcohol addictions at various times during his life. He was married and is survived by six children.

The band's most recent album, One More Light, topped the Billboard 200 earlier this year.
