Yuuri 21,636
Are the gay's last hope to keep pop music alive. After Gaga and Miley went Country, Katy's less than grand return, and Adele reappearing once every blue moon to drop a massive album. As we know the charts are now runned by Trop-house and Hip-Hop/Rap songs, and it seems like the Pop Divas are doomed, but can Kesha's and Taylor's return to music save pop music. Kesha's Praying *debut* (#25) Taylor Swift #6 debut without Spotify and a peak at #2. Or are we forced for artists to collab with rappers on a trop beat? Saint Hollywood 37,364
At this point, it looks like nothing (except Taylor) will beat the current rap trend Rest in piss to our pop divas
REALITY 76,270
Can I just say, I hate out how we keep perpetuating this notion and attitude of "Ugh! Why are hip hop/raps dominating the music industry these days?!" Music's going to evolve and change and that's just a natural part of how the industry works. Look, I don't like it, in fact, I hate it. I hate today's popular music, but at the same time, what's the point complaining about it if in perhaps another 10 years the industry could be completely different. The "pop divas" are really only something we care about, and while they may have a lot of casual fans, it's clear that it's not everyone's cup of tea. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

DemeLarell 931
I love the way things are now in the industry. No basic pop songs trying to rip off gaga. You guys didn't want basic music well now you got it. Lol
John Slayne 4,154
Pop qirls are kinda uncool rn and I doubt Snake will change that. She's had a lot of bad press and I, for one, am not going to support her just because she is the only pop girl with a chance of slaying Hot 100 chart. sass bonbon 430
Idk. Pop girls might have been overrated. Plus, every male now is just pop. Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd. Also rap and hip hop kinda are the new pop. I mean, Drake's songs sound more like pop music with time, also Kanye's, also Chance the Rapper's - Quavo or Migos are in every pop track, and every pop track has trap drums now. Plus, I am gay but not a huge fan of "Pop Divas" as I'm a fan of just artists depending of what they uniquely propose. This is why I like Lady Gaga or Kesha. I don't care if this is "The Decay of Pop Divas" but I'm glad we have more and more genres and music now. Pop music is still alive, and I still think Miley and Gaga are pop. Now pop is just different. Embrace it. bbhmm
