Can anyone reccommend me Lana songs, I can't really get into her music. I've listened to some here and there but it hasn't struck a chord with me.

High by the beach - Summertime Sadness - Diet mountain dew - Off to the races - Gods and Monsters - Blue jeans - Born to die - Religion - West Coast - Shades of cool - Salvatore - Honeymoon - Brooklyn Baby - Radio - Carmen - Old Money.

And many many more.....:D

I've spent my days in deep regret, but I wanna forgive and forget

It's a bit too early to claim anything definitively, but

If I had to right now, having heardd the record once, and at 128 kbps (it will be way better at 320kbps with good headphones  ) UV > LFL >/= HM > Paradise > BTD

The melodies are the strongest shes ever had, her vocals are amazing, the production is engaging and never lulls, which is a complaint most casual Lana fans have had with UV and especially Honeymoon. Her vocals are very energetic too, and versatile. We get folk lana, rock lana, growly lana, cutesy lana, high head voice lana, its all here. I think theres even some CRINGE-lana from the live BTD era (in Get Free when she shouts "Out of the Back" and then "Into the Blue" - it almost doesnt even sound like her at all, but if you watch performances from that era, esp. early, she used to go into this kind of like, full throaty but still high voice that a LOT of people cringe at :laughga:

I'm rambling, but yeah. For me its certainly more consistent than UV, but UV and HM have some epicly beautiful moments lyrically and sensitively that make me tear up to this day, and I only teared up at GBA, TNC, Heroin, Change, and Get Free. I can really feel that this album was originally much more like the 2nd half of the record. I love Summer Bummer and Groupie Love, but this album would have beat UV or matched it easily if tracks like Yosemite + RBFY had made it instead.

Lmfao, it's actually the opposite...Lana's worst release up to date and one of the worst albums I've heared from this year

Ultraviolence >BTD > Paradise > Honeymoon > LFL

Just finished and I think only LFL and Cherry stand out at the beginning, and then the album picks up again at When the World Was at War We Kept Dancing :flop:

She could've cut a lot and it would've been solid -- especially if she kept the current-society-and-politics theme running through the whole thing. I would say it's my least favorite album of hers.

i like it very much, but the trap beats are too much. The first half is incredibly overproduced which ain't cute. It has a lot of highlights, most of them being in the second half, but then there are bad songs like BPBP or Coachella :rip: It's Honeymoon > Ultraviolence > Lust For Life > Born To Die > Paradise for me atm

Sometimes it feels like I've got a war in my mind, I wanna get off but I keep riding the ride

Try to listen to Born To Die (the album)! It's my favorite and has the sound that's easiet to get into, I believe.

Its amazing!!! It's like the best from all the past albums combined! She should perform TNC with Sean Lennon on Grammy or something. The world needs to know it

Just listened to it. The last songs on the album are the only good thing about it. She should learn how to edit 'cause all of the trap songs sound the same and shouldn't even be there.

Try to listen to her first album, Born To Die, if you don't like that one I think you should just give up tbh :emma:
