This means they will hold a vote to repeal the ACA but will have two years to work on what will replace it.

Trump invited GOP senators for dinner (and beer) at the White House today... and he LOST 2 votes???

the tragic part is that some of them are probably against the bill because it doesn't repeal obamacare enough and not that people are losing coverage.

Exactly. Which is why I'm a bit more concerned that this might actually happen, even though it is not the will of the people :rip:

So basically, Obamacare will be repealed but it will continue until for another 2 years before the repeal takes effect. Why not just repeal it in 2 years then? Oh, because they probably won't still have a majority in both houses of congress in 2 years. They're gonna lose the house in 2018 and possibly have a small senate majority then they do now. So basically, they'll repeal while they have the numbers and then force the democrats to work with them because Obamacare will end when neither party has both houses.

Clever, I'll give them that.

they had obama's whole presidency to come up with a better solution oh my god

It was already embarrassing that they didn't have a bill ready to go after so long. With the long campaign to repeal, you'd expect them to have a bill ready with 50 votes on January 21st.

Now its more then embarrassing. It's complete incompetence.

Omg the GOP is so incompetent, to not have a plan ready in the span of 8 years with majority of party members not even supporting, now voting on to repeal it and having to create another in a span of two years YNZZg.gif

Uh Red Wine... Convict... Gah Gah...
