LustForLife 840 Posted July 16, 2017 Share Posted July 16, 2017 BuzzFeed has learned that if a song is featured on a major Spotify playlist with over 1 million followers, the artist doesn't get any money from the streams, so basically the artists has to choose if they want to get paid, or if they want their song to be a huge spotify hit, and get nothing for their work! It's annoying, because less people downloaded illegally because it was illegal and felt bad about doing it, but now, they don't feel bad at all... BUY MUSIC.
