I've never ever heard of the Las Ketchup song (I'm from US). I was expecting Gasolina by Daddy Yankee though as someone already mentioned.

Nope...though the fact that it was huge here (Saudi) means that it was huge everywhere (but I have been to the US during the whole craze (though I was pretty young) and have heard it around there)

Take a look at some other members from US saying same thing as me :) it wasn't big here (peaked in the 50s)
