Ultraviolence is her highest rated album. I see no lies there, its beautiful. She needs to do more pop-rock.

Honeymoon is cute, Art Deco is everything.

Honeymoon is actually, it's considered critically acclaimed.

I think Art Deco, High By The Beach and Freak are her basic trinity

I mean, West Coast is a very good song. Ultra violence is overall more interesting than Honeymoon.

The problem with Lana its that she relies on nostalgia elements and cool lyrics. Its nice 1 or 2 times, but she keeps repeating the same words and using the same triggers.

Some people really like this universe she created or, more accurately, "recreated".

I think Honeymoon had easier to receive good rates because of UV great impression. I compared both albums rates on a few sites and Ultraviolence is a little higher with scores.

I don't see how UV's reviews helped HM, BTD reviews didn't help PD and PD reviews didn't help UV. :oprah:

People on here love UV more but critics liked HM more.

I mean, I loved UV. It has this 70s femme fatale influence going on with cult undertones (aesthetic wise). The sound is beautiful. Reminiscent of old movies with the muffled filter on her voice. The guitars are divine. Lyrics are just as swell.

Honeymoon however, it hasn't really clicked with me. I love the song Honeymoon along with Music To Watch Boys To but the album doesn't give me much excitement.

Sorrow found me when I was young.

Ultraviolence made me a fan, I fell in love with the raw sound.

Honeymoon is and stays my favorite album of all time

Because BTD and PD weren't her magnum opus :classy:

I agree. BTD was Lana's breakthrough. Million Dollar Man will always remain a fave. :lana:
