But this last one has just pushed me over the edge. This girl is mediocre in my opinion But all she had to say was "my parents got divorced" at a totally random moment when it wasnt even called for, and WHAM golden buzzer. I am sooo done. I know yall are gonna be like: "we been knew" but this year it is so obvious that I cant hold back my anger anymore. It seems like they are not choosing the talented acts on purpose like the subway singer HE BARELY GOT THROUGH WITH HEIDI AND MEL B NOT LIKING IT I AM D.O.N.E DONE Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Then they exploit them for ratings. Never do I hear of these singers ever again. Same for The Voice minus the sob stories. I meab I still enjoy the show but... Like the mentioning of the divorce was so random lmao she asked what she was going to be doing not how she got into it or what made her pursue what she was going to do. I couldn't take it for the same reason you are giving. I knew it was heavily fabricated but it feels so predicable and boring. Especially when the sob stories have nothing to do with the audition, just like the girl in the OP. It was beyond random I also watch American Ninja Warrior and that show has become the exact same thing as AGT. They spend more time telling peoples sob stories instead of actually showing them on the obstacles.
