Smother Em Eh 7,095
Was ARTPOP originally suppose to have a different sound? I heard somewhere on FOTPforums (I don't know if it's true or not, and idk if I believe it) that ARTPOP was originally suppose to be different and Gaga should've gone with the original. So did it originally have a different sound? One that was still pop what maybe a sub genre of pop??? Get Applause & G.U.Y to 1B views!

RainingOnMe 7,280
Well, the original ARTPOP 1.0 was the first concept she originally came up with for the album. The theme was "decay of the blonde," had its main influence from Marilyn Monroe. But sound wise? I'm not sure. Gaga's engineer said the sound of the album was merely a work-in-progress from 2012-2013, and not changed drastically during the making.
Twitter 14
I wouldn't say a different sound but maybe a slight different concept.

DrKindnessKunt1999 6,062
Yep. I don't think that this instrumental would have fit in with the ARTPOP that have right now.

So that's why SlaveBlonde kept tweeting about "they killed the blonde" with pictures of Marilyn's corpse. Always wondered what all that was about. bannedT for life and it's SAD
