The woman never said "all men" but she described a problem she has with catcalling, she doesn't face the problem of women wolf-whistling at her and shouting out remarks at her walking down the street - she has a problem with men doing that. Hence why she talked about "men". Likewise - when I say "members here are mainly privileged white gays who are hypersensitive, don't know how to discuss racial issues and are lowkey racist... White gays can be ****ing evil." I'm not calling all white gays evil... I just don't have the experience of getting harassed by black gays and with black gays who are racially insensitive... There is a difference between saying "members here are mainly privileged white gays" which is just an ethnographic fact about this website and saying "blacks are mainly criminals" which is a racist generalization of black people... Saying "most people here are white gays" =/= generalizing white gays... I'm not saying that most or even many white gays visit GGD, just that the makeup of the site is generally white and gay You can keep trying to make these weak ass connections, but it's a total false equivalency and the more you try to connect them as the same the more embarrassing it gets.
