Why do artists like Ed, Rihanna, Adele, Bruno etc always smash?

Will the GP ever get sick of them? Will they still have huge hits this time in 10 years

I think a part of it is that they are fairly consistent. People know what to expect when they know a song's from Ed, or Rihanna, or Adele, or Bruno, etc. etc. 

They also know how to stick with the trends—Adele maybe not so much, but she's in a separate lane of her own.

Ed won't last forever. Bruno is an icon plus he is male in a male industry. Rihanna (also an icon) has a gift for current music, she knows the trends like she knows the palm of her hand.

The three of them have never left the industry for years neither.

For sure they got good promo, And I don't know for Ed, But I think that everybody like at least one of Rihanna's songs and that's why now she is everywere, same for Adele and maybe Bruno too

Adele, 25 just jumped on 21 success.. who knows about the next one? 25 was weaker and everybody understood that.. so who knows about the next album..

Rihanna it depends on the song tbh..

Adele is the one major artist I don't want to see flop. I'd love to see Ed flop though

They are considered to have a cool factor about them (Ed, Bruno & Rih). Also their music is uncomplicated and easier to digest. They also have very strong melodies in their tracks...their stuff sticks to your head without being overtly generic like some other pop songs.

They will eventually plateau and will eventually start having less hits but they for sure will outlast most of their contemporaries and actually they have already outlasted many.
