There's still a lot of stigma surrounding the issue (you can see that in this thread sadly) and it would've been much wiser had she corrected the people who were being borderline transphobic (in the first post mainly) rather than just put them on blast. You don't necessarily have to be nice, but education is the key to combating this. Now. As for the people in here talking about genitalia. I suggest you go on webMD, read a medical textbook, take a class on embryology, or something because that whole "enlarged clit, natural cock" argument is both disgusting and just not accurate. Both the clitoris and the penis originate from the same embryonic tissue (so guess what, all embryos start out anatomically female!!! ) and the only difference is the presence of testes determining factor and the SRY protein. If you are a biological male and weren't exposed to it under development, you would not have a penis. But let me not digress you guys need some serious education on MTF and FTM transitioning process thinking that a transman is just a person with an enlarged clit There are reconstructive medical procedures that are performed in same way as a cis man would get should he end up injured in an accident. Would his "cock" suddenly become undesirable as well? Would you stop loving your significant other because of that? Hox genes are turned on in sequence to build body structures, and which hox genes are switched on (at least for gender-specific structures) are determined by the sex chromosome. There is a difference between these naturally built genitalia and ones built not by master genes and hox genes, but instead by scissors in an operating theatre. It's ridiculous. I'm not attracted to like 99% of people I see, it's not a hate crime. But yeah some of those messages are incredibly rude. I don't get it, why hate? What are they hoping to accomplish? If you don't like that someone is trans just move on, leave them alone. Before they realized that, they wanted to get to know her. Cis people need to realize there are people out there who are trans/ non-binary.
