I don't know, all I know is the next record should be the acclaimed album. It has to cement her legacy.

I just want another album. I don't care if it's experimental, reggaeton or rancheras. Just give me another album. :madge:

the word 'experimental' is thrown around very easily on this site.... a few scratching sounds and the record is all of a sudden 'experimental'

No, she should try to appeal to a larger demographic like she did with Joanne without strategically imposing any trends or other motives besides making a cohesive, vindictive album. It'll be unappealing to the casual listeners she's garnered with the SuperBowl and “Joanne" as a matter of fact.

This first :diane:

But I think that what I would like her to do the most on her new album is experimental music. I know all of her albums have been somewhat experimental for pop music, but I think her new music should be her most experimental yet. We all know if she would go the experimental route, she would come up with some of the most awesome and crazy music she has ever made.

And then this :tony:

🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

If by experimental you mean like Beck, I'm on board!

I think an album where every song forms a story would be cool! Something like Electra Heart, or Imaginaerum by Nightwish

Not necessarily. Experimentation could be appealing.

Artists may also approach a hybrid of disparate styles or incoprorate unorthodox and unique elements and typically go against the conventional ways of creating music. Of course it can be appealing to some people but not to the people she's been captivating. There are many ways Gaga can show her immense talent and she achieve that by being attentive towards her craft, use the aid of professionals that critique her constructively, and to polish her skills.

My ultimate dream would be if Gaga did an album like Vespertine by Björk.

BJORK_VESPERTINE-194998.jpg

So understated, intimate, dark, heartbreaking, controlled, and experimental. Vespertine is one of my favorite albums of all time and really is a masterpiece. The sound and subject matter stays so consistent through out the whole thing (as with all of Björk's albums). Vespertine roughy translates to things relating, occurring, or active during the evening/night and it follows that theme with its mysterious, intimate lyrics along with the dark, domestic sounding instrumentals.

It's such a complete body of work, I honestly can't give it enough praise. If Gaga can do anything like it, I would be blown away.
