Noah X 5,250 Posted July 10, 2017 Share Posted July 10, 2017 I had a thought after seeing Gaga's unreleased Poker Face clips from that thing GGD posted, and thought, what if Gaga totally reinvented how music videos work and the relationship with her fans, by uploading all raw footage from each of her music video shoots? The music video would still be edited professionally and released, and then all the clips will be released after in a downloadable folder for any fan to download. The fans would then be able to edit their own interpretations of the music video by fusing different scenes together, picking new takes, etc. Then Gaga would pick the best cut out of all and post that as "Fan Edit" to release officially. So each of her music videos would have an "Official Fan Edit" release to be anticipated. Imagine the BOOST in INVOLVEMENT, excitement, and PROMO that could do to a fandom. Maybe once It's quite a lot of work for each video all she needs to do really is hire 2 people, one guy to process the footage and one guy to upload them all up, and maybe a little team to judge the fan videos and narrow it down to 5 videos she can pick, or have a fan-vote system where it's the top 5 and she picks from there. it's really effortless on their part, if she can charge $1 million for a 45 minute performance Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
