Not really sure if I'm a fan of this.... does this mean it's less likely artists will release more singles off their albums?

I feel like this means they'll release more singles, since the previous won't have as much longevity

I am now convinced that Gaga is the real life Bellatrix Lestrange.

HEARTSTOP

All that this does is provide wrong information about everything, just so the minor artists can be included in a list that, by definition, should be represented by the top selling music out there. We are going too deep into the "everyone deserves a trophy" pool. If he can sell all of his songs that much, he deserves to have them all in the top list, even if I hate him.

On another note, streams shouldn't be counted as sales for "top selling" lists. The information is displayed in a way that leads people into thinking that some artists with great sales are not selling that much, or that artists that are great on streaming platforms actually sell those enormous numbers (which rarely coincides with real sales). The numbers should be reported as "sales: xxx, streams: xxx", and that's it.
