Haroon 49,685 Posted February 27, 2019 Author Share Posted February 27, 2019 Okay firstly I’m not impressed with the visuals, we know the Switch is capable of SOOO much more (Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Xenoblade, Bayonetta 2, etc) so it’s underwhelming that GameFreak aren’t tapping into the hardware the way that they can That being said, it’s better looking than any of the other Pokémon games so it’s still an improvement The region seems cool, the Galar region reminds me of the UK. The industrial parts being like London and Manchester and the big cities here and then there being open countryside between them and then in the north there’s Scotland with the mountains and coldness The starters all seem too cute The names are kinda weird but it’s just Pokémon anyway. I’m instantly gravitating to Scorbunny but I’m guessing that’s gonna be a pick for loads of people so I’ll probably end up going to one of the other two for variation Shield attracts me more than Sword because I’m a defensive kind of player overall in loads of games. The names seem cool and I’m excited to find out what the wolf motif means Overall I’m happy but I’m not blown away, I’ll still definitely get one of the games and I’m totally perched for more news Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
