I'm really interest in FFX, but I read in some forums that FFXII is better but I don't know in video the mechanics look weird, so... Has someone played it? which game is better? I need help I have played the sh*t out of FFX, it is among my top favorite games. Partially because it is a unique turn-based RPG and partially because of the nostalgia. I have played through the game maybe 20 times and I will say, as much as I love it, it does have its problems. It can be very grindy and there are some cringey moments. And the minigames are entirely frustrating (and necessary if you wanna 100% the game (which I have never done because of these minigames)). But the story is really good and I have never found a game that plays like it. Now, unfortunately, I never played FFXII because it didn't appeal to me, even now I don't want to spend money on it to try it. It seems to play a lot like Xenoblade Chronicles, where your character auto-attacks and you can input actions such as using spells or items. The story seems nice, if not a little confusing. I just recently tried learning to use shield on left bumper instead of right (so I can short hop easier).
