Wish they'd make the Switch have bluetooth so I could put it in a bag and wirelessly listen to it NOOO at Shovel Knight being an assist trophy, I was really hoping he'd be added as a fighter even though I've never played the games but he's adorable I like the new animation of the Pokeball releasing a Pokemon too and the new additions are nice (most excited about Ditto!). Love the new modes too and choosing mode -> stage -> character is gonna take quite a bit of getting used to after it being the same since like Melee. Didn't play Smash 64 so I don't know how it was then I've always seen people begging for King K. Rool online so it's nice to see the demand being listened to, I don't really know much about him personally but he seems like an alright fighter I'm so excited about the new training stage with all the grids and lines and trajectories though, I love playing around with stats like that and perfecting techniques when given the opportunity Overall very happy with that direct, how immensely satisfying Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

People have also noticed that the Monster Hunter stage with that new boss doesn't seem to appear in the regular stage selection... Thing is I'm garbage at fighting games, so them likely bringing back a subspace emissary type mode adds a lot of value to the game for me since I can't get into the online competitive aspect.
