The sister trio has just released her sophomore album: Something To Tell You.

Singles / promo so far:

This performance is amazing:

Have you listened to the album yet? What re your thoughts on it? Honestly, I think it's such  step up from Days are Gone, I was so hyped and the whole album is so good.

Amazing listen! That signature sunny California pop rock that mixes 70s/80s soft rock with 90s girl group R&B soul I love. It's really an amazing next step after 'Days Are Gone'. A bit more disco and soul influences, but still sticks to there roots and doesn't adhere to the "trendy" and "in". Love LOVE! And the closing song, "Night So Long", is simply GORGEOUS.

I really love their songs and their melody/rhythm sound and percussions are all very unique. Underrated but ****ing awesome.

And when you say my name, like white horses on the waves, I think it feels the same, as an ocean in my veins.

I listened to it again this morning while I was getting ready for work. This album is really fun and I can't wait to see where the sisters go from here.

HAIM :diane:  What are your guys' favorite tracks so far?  From both albums?  They hit it out of the park again.  Lyrics that are open to interpretation about relationships, self-love, growing up, etc.  Not to mention the genres they explore! :rockstar:

So far Kept Me Crying has me:

Its modern, 50s Doo-wop vibes are reminiscent of Amy Winehouse :diane:

I couldn't possibly choose any favorites, both albums are totally great to me and they're so enjoyable.

I was actually surprised in the best way to find out that Rostam Batmanglij (former Vampire Weekend member) cowrote and produced a couple of the songs in STTY. They're so goooooood.

That J

Yall.   Walking Away is the BOP tho!!!!    That track is smokin hot and by the end it's just like DAMN, replay, what!!?!?!      That's easily my favorite track. I'm also liking Found It In Silence.  Right Now is my jam too. A couple songs are gonna have to grow on me which is fine. But Walking Away....is my current favorite song by anybody.

So far so good.  Worth buying it digitally and on cd like I did. 😉
