Toxic is out of this world. Britney is so lucky she has one of the most legendary pop tracks in history.

I think the radio ban killed some of her singles like Slave/Toxic etc but what matters is that those songs are way more important and remembered than some of her #1's like 3. A peak position means nothing tbh. Toxic shits on 3 and Hold it against me etc...

Oh lort. I was in fourth grade when Toxic came out. Was around the same time of Janet Jackson's Super Bowl controversy. 2004 was a good year for pop music in general. Remember skating at the rink to this and Milkshake lol.

Luxe Ford

Toxic is one of two songs by Britney I enjoy. Brilliant!

By Bloodshy & Avant from Miike Snow and Galantis.

I read that the company that was sponsoring her DWAD tour owns the whole radio system in USA and she cancel them in the last minute acepting a full sponsoring by Pepsi, that include one of the most expensives ads in history for the superbowl, so she went with Pepsi, they didn't realize that the contract with the other company was tricky, at the end that affected her both albumes, Britney and In the Zone including all the singles

Clear Channel wanted to sponsor her  Tour back then but she ended up going with Pepsi, and as a result Clear Channel blacklisted her for choosing Pepsi over them. It lasted from Slave all the way to Me Against The Music. Radio played Toxic but there was still a hesitation so it didn't destroy the charts as it should have.

@Leonardo Fox sorry i wrote the comment before i saw you commented the same. :laughga:
