For a lot of us, she was the first one to say "I love you for exactly who you are". That's why she created little monsters. It was a safe place for the so called freaks where they could be themselves. It was through our weirdness that we bonded and became like family. I mean Sharon Needles has "haus of haunt" for the drag queens who are considered too weird/scary/unconventional just as Gaga has little monsters for the kids who are considered too weird, gay, etc I love you monsters.
