I sometimes feel bad for people, when they don't know English - no matter what community it is. English is most peoples second language (and German, right?)Ā

And I just wonder, whether it's because lack of interest in learning the language or just poor education. I've noticed, thatĀ it's often Spanish/Portugese people, who struggle with only knowing a few words, or nothing at all.Ā

English is a stupid language tbh :smh:

Maybe it's because French, Spanish, Portuguese, and English are all pretty similar but English has a ton of ridiculous grammar rules, completely different sentence structures, and...well, my favorite joke about English was that it followed other languages down a dark alley, beat them over the head, and stole loose grammar :poot:Ā It's a mess that's difficult for any non-native speaker to learnĀ :poot:

🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼

Well, my english is not good, but like some people say, music is an universal lenguage; you don't need to understand a song to like it. I can read english, but it's difficult to me understand when I hearĀ it or writing it, but there's internet, thank God, and you can searchĀ the translation.Ā

English isn’t my first language, so please excuse any mistakes

Coupure Electrique is an amazing French song from Britney, I don't know the lyrics so I just listen to the background music and the beat. I figure I would do that with other second language songs as well

When I was younger (and didn't know English that well) I enjoyed and admired artists because of the beat\genere of their music, their music videosĀ and performances.
I didn't really pay attention to interviews and staff like that.
And if I really wanted to know the meaning of the song I searched for a translation, that's it.Ā

So I assume that is how non-English speakers enjoy the artist and its music.Ā
And I also agree with @SpookyKidĀ that music is universal.Ā

Weird. I'm French and I was told by every English teacher (that are mostly native French speakers) that French was so freaking complicated in comparison to English.

Monsters whose first language is not English will not pay much attention to the lyrics of the new songs that Gaga just dropped. As for Asian monsters like me, I usually listen to what words or phrases she was trying to say or sing aloud rather than going into the melody or whatever in the song in the first place. And for some words that only American can understand, like "Russian Roulette is not the same without a gun"Ā I sometimes would be:oprah:when that part of the song come through.

I am my Hair.
