The other thing is that people think it's safe to use compared to tobacco, which is false. For example, a guy at work told me he quit smoking years ago and was talking about how good that decision was... but then he said 'I still do weed every day though'. Well cigarettes are TERRIBLE for your body because they are extremely addictive and don't serve any physical/mental advantages. So technically when "compared" to tobacco products (especially cigarettes) marijuana is not even close to how dangerous cigarettes are... And they both serve very different purposes. Yeah if you smoke too much weed you can do some stupid stuff...but it's actually healthier than alcohol, AND the effects of pot are a lot less damaging. I'm all for the legalization of weed because its natural in nature and serves several befits medically.
