We achieved the "civil union" for same-sex couples here in Germany back in 2001 and we never stopped fighting to constantly improve the law within the last couple of years - but only today we achieved through a historic ballot in the German Parliament, that the "gay marriage" will have fully equalisation in comparsion to the "straight marriage"!
