theahsfan 13,822
What sound would totally catch the attention of the GP? How would this song have impact? What makes it unique? I'm just so desperate for her to have another huge hit cause I miss her so much on the radio and hearing about her as much as we did back in like 2011 when the whole world was talking about her.. don't act like you don't care about the charts either you Little Chartsters and don't come @ me with "music not the bling" because yeah that's sometimes the case but I miss SmashGa so Also do you think Gaga will have another smash hit? Delulu Rogers 7,235
With proper promotion. DWUW, The Cure would have been huge with proper execution. The gp is not responsible for gaga not having hits, gaga is
dit 46,433
She literally can't at this point (unless she randomly features on someone's song and we claim it as her own smash like Xtina fans do). Now a days it's harder than ever to have a smash hit and with Gaga's messy team and her short attention span we won't be getting another properly executed pop era, let alone another smash single, unfortunately. Born To Slay 10,996
Gaga could've had a smash hit with The Cure is she promoted it.

GaGaAst 13,023
she still can make the cure hit if she promotes it. It can reach #1 in billboard (thanks to spotify users. GP will easily swallow this song). And a strong contender for song of the summer. Love it when you call me legs In the morning, buy me eggs
bloody g 31,746
She should work her ass off promoting like in 2008-09 with a current song like The Cure. But I would not be too concerned, I think ASIB soundtrack will be quite actual and will have major WW promo. 『𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝』

TheFame Monster 8,924
She just needs to have everything in place and planned beforehand. Perfect Illusion as the lead single destroyed all of the possible momentum which is why Million Reasons struggled on radio. The Cure would have been able to grow faster and continue to grow with an initial radio deal, but that wasn't possible with the surprise release. I hate when people say it's not possible, because it is possible - with any artists. It's all about strategy and marketing. I will say though that right now is really hard though with new releases from well known artists every week.

I just don't think Gaga gives a **** anymore and has the "music not the bling" attitude, which is fine (when something flops mostly) in some cases but I agree with you, she has solid potential to soar to the top of the charts cause she's Lady ****ing Gaga. But Lady Gaga has almost died to most of the GP now because she's evolved so much and just disappeared from radio after 2011, coming back in 2013 with a sound that was mostly experimental so it flopped (in comparison to the previous success of TF, TFM, BTW). She just needs to rebuild her name.

I think for her next album, she needs to have a current sound (EDM) but with dark visuals like we saw at Coachella, like imagine if she incorporated the whole tentacle idea into a MV? So she can be shocking without trying; minimalist shock
