Why Doesn't Gaga Join

artists have always been "scared" to work with her

she always said that she didn't really have that many friends in the industry + I don't think she'd actually like to make a song or be a part of a song with a lot of people like that because she probably prefers to actually spend time with other artists when she's collaborating with them and, with these types of songs, 90% of the time artists record their verses separately and they eventually meet on the set of the video or while rehearsing a performance

I'd love a big female collaboration a la Lady Marmelade but if she doesn't want to do it I will respect her decision

I think she could, but the problem is most artists aren't like Florence, Mark Ronson, BloodPop, T.I., etc. Most artists don't really care to actually collaborate and hang out with one another. Also, most artists may find Gaga quite intimidating in the studio because she's so serious about her craft.

Although I think she could totally do collaborations with artists like Katy, Ariana & Miley though, I feel like they won't be intimidated by Gaga as they all look up to her so they would kind of listen to her (if you know what I mean).

"The times when I was the most unhappy with my career is when I had a clear vision, but listened to somebody else instead, looked back on it and knew what it was SUPPOSED to be."

But tbh, she'd be up for more collabs if the people actually met up with her. She said she hates that impersonal "I'll record my verse and send it via mail" exchange (which is also one of the additional reasons she hates Telephone quite a bit, along with the long fight to get it back from Britney's team).

And not gonna lie, I'm kinda happy she's not a collab wh*re like Bieber or Nicki.

I think she likes having more control over her work than a lot of these collabs tend to offer. I think she would compromise on this however if it was for something she believed in.

@Debithius was talking about relevant stars

Well depends cause a lot of song with more than 3 singer are not so good personally I don't like "Feel" they sound a little lost and don't smash there voices together same with "Heatstrock" it's too much even if it's just for fun I choose quality not quantity, But I do love Lady Marmalade it's a Classic and Bangbang was catchy af but I don't imagine Gaga collaborate with too much pop star at the same time today :oprah: Specially with who?

SHALLOW

I think it's good that she keeps herself away from al this collaborations. There are too many of them nowadays in the charts. We don't need them.
