Iggy responds to Halsey

I think this whole ordeal will actually help out Iggy slightly and that makes me very happy.

People have always been kind of on edge with Ashley. She isn't respectful to her fans, she's a sell out, and she has an overreaching ego that made her think an arena tour is where she is at in her career. I can't stand her whatsoever, and I have always rooted for Iggy, so I'm happy Iggy is shining a bit and people are boarding the Ashley-hate train.

I'm just sick and tired of people like Ashley getting famous. She doesn't deserve it whatsoever. She doesn't even have a good voice lmao.

Queen! she could've DRAGGED halsey for working with RACIST white trash like justin bieber or dating a RACIST like machine gun kelly, but choose to keep it CLASSY. :classy:

Discussing with haters is waste of time. Iggy did the best thing and she just ignored that pathetic girl :applause:

I think this just shows what a nice person Iggy is. Even though she's a rapper and is therefore well within her rights to put out a diss track in response to anyone putting her down, she chooses to just keep things civil. Not all rappers have to be aggressive if they don't want to be. Right from the beginning, Iggy has never courted drama with people coming for her. She's always taken a "you do you and I'll do me" and "we should all get along" approach. She doesn't try to scalp people or put them down. If you watch any interview with her, you can see what a calm and collected person she is and how she's just a girl trying to make it in the world and doesn't want to put anyone down to get there. I always feel so relaxed when I watch her interviews, she has such a calm aura about her. I wish more rappers didn't feel the need to be aggressive. There's more to rapping than putting others down and it just displays attitude problems. Not only do I wish Iggy could have success again but I wish more rappers with her more humbled, kinder attitude could be making it in the business. It seems you have to be controversial now if you're starting out and need to be noticed. And you'll notice how the ones who start out in their career by being shady to other artists generally don't last long. You can't be burning bridges before you've barely got started.
