In terms of your empathy comments: I get that having empathy can be difficult, but it is necessary, especially when it comes to people's health. Trust me, there are times when I feel the same (I despise both main parties), but eliminating empathy for others makes the already rigid political dichotomy in this country even worse. People were warned about many things Republicans would try to pass once in power and they refused to believe and decided to stick with the Republicans. I'm talking about independents. The loyal Republicans will support them no matter what. A healthcare bill such as this one is something many of us (liberals) knew would be likely and here we are.... people didn't listen. Every Republican in Congress ran on repealing ObamaCare. Republicans voted them into office. This is the healthcare bill they voted for. Trump promised to repeal Obamacare at every campaign stop. He promised to have the best insurance in the world at rock bottom prices. Anyone with a lick of sense knows that this doesn't happen without tax increases. The people that voted for this ignored every report and reputable source stating hard facts. You get what you vote for and these people voted their healthcare away. To equate the voters' desires for repealing Obamacare and advocation for this crappy bill's content is erroneous logic (no shade). The Tea Party took over the GOP and both houses are Republican due to the ACA. It doesn't matter if they like the bill or not. They voted to repeal, instead of improve and this is what they get. Literally, my comment was just stating that I am a fan of hard work and that I don't agree with Conway (hence stating that she has "no basic understanding of the labor market", a remark which I stand behind). I agree that Kellyanne will say literally anything to try to legitimize an "argument" that she is trying to make (factual or not).
