How should Kesha comeback?

Born To Slay

Kesha seems like she's finally gonna be ready for a comeback this year. How should she do it? Personally I think she should have a VMAs comeback. Someone on atrl said she's doing a visual album, if that's the case, she should surprise release it VMA week and then perform the lead single at the show.

What do u think her best shot at a comeback is?

sweet spot

unfortunately (and not being negative), the chances nowadays of having a hit song are minimal. gaga, katy, britney, huge names tried and didn't manage to get a big smash like they did in the past. i don't think kesha will be able to have a successful comeback, although i wish she could have.

ps: don't even come for me, mr was a hit but you can't deny it didn't have the impact that even applause had

I partially agree. I still think Kesha has a chance, people love comebacks and Kesha is still popular so if her first single is a bop she could still have a chance. However, if her comeback song is a underwhelming there are little chances that her second single (even if it's a bop) will smash. (I Really Like You/Run Away With Me)

It's possible but considering how she's been lost from the public eye for a long time, it will be hard for her.

It all depends on the music. Like how Justin Bieber had a comeback with What Do You Mean?. It was when tropical music was starting to emerge. He basically had 2 "flop" albums before that.

I agree with this, if she manages to pull a sound that stands out and people like she can get another tik tok success, however, i wonder why no one tagged justins albums as a "flop" like they do to woman pop stars

Do a collab with a HOT DJ like Kygo or Calvin Harris. I feel like the GP isn't here for Kesha style of music

It depends on if she wants to be a large pop act like before. I think she's aware of her time away from the spotlight so it all comes down to the music and how she handles this era.

THIS. Kesha is not in the spot of somebody like Rih, Bey, Adele or Taylor where she could take a 3+ year break and slay the charts. She doesn't have a established fanbase. Not to mention she's 30. Pop Radio kind drops you when you're that age.

Kesha's new song sounds country/funk, so I doubt she will get another "Tik Tok" as party/dance songs are out and Trop-house is in. The GP seems to be on her side since the lawsuits, so let's hope her music is great so they'll have a reason to stay. Plus she hinted at a collab with a "Grammy winning pop star" and then weeks before or after she had one of her getting hugged and kissed by Gaga.

Her first single should be a trap banger tbh if she wants to come back.  Or a hard EDM track.
