A Non-Democrat who LOST the Democratic primary by over 3.7 million votes WON'T register as a Democrat even after the election of an autocrat but goes on the DNC "Unity" tour as the Outreach Chair where he bashes Democrats on the daily (when he's voted with them lockstep 90%+ of the time), readily providing soundbites/material for anti-liberal news cycles to state propaganda TV like Fox News & Sinclair local stations + every RW blog in the universe so they can continue discrediting EVERYTHING that Democrats ever try to do for American people + providing cover/distraction for the Trump admin's grave ills - And you wonder HOW he is hurting DNC fundraising? If you ACTUALLY believed something "needs to be rebuilt from the ground", it sure seems bizarre/stupid/****ed-up to waste YEARS dismantling/destroying it instead of building something new, clear, fresh and original. But I suppose it's easy to see why a 75 y.o. man who's achieved VERY little during 30+ years in senate, who can't get any of the candidates you endorse elected, who LOST by 3.7 million votes, whose people/organization (Sanders Institute, Our Revolution) can't get itself together to form a legitimate group/party, and whose wife is under FBI investigation for bank fraud — might choose to do just that. The big donors probably decided to send their money to the special elections this month. Also, Liberal and extremely important organizations such as the ACLU and Planned Parenthood have been receiving record donations. There is definitely a grassroots group of liberals and moderates who are protesting with their actions and their pocketbooks.
