They said their album is produced by Greg Kurstin, who is Katy Perry's producer as well, he produced several songs including By the Grace of God.

so... Katy Perry?

Btw it's not a collaboration though, he only said the biggest pop star provided background vocals.

Greg Kurstin produced 3 songs for Adele's 25, and she is the biggest pop star (the biggest doesn't mean the most talented). So could it be Adele? :oprah:

Also Greg Wells produced By the Grace of God :poot: Greg Kurstin produced Double Rainbow and Spiritual :poot:

Many Gregs there. :rip: I got confused.

I dk but Adele is technically a pop star, but she's more soul than pop to me and a lot of people.

"Lady Gaga: She isn't operating at her 2011 level of popularity anymore, so again, it's tough to call Lady Gaga "the biggest pop star in the world." But hey, Dave Grohl is no pop critic, and we're confident he'd appreciate Gaga's rocker credentials." - Billboard

Gaga would be dope! But I need a real collab! Not only background vocals...

“The biggest pop star in the world and — I’m not kidding — sings backup on one of the heaviest songs on the record, and we’re not telling anybody who it is,”

Who could it be? These is my list of potential candidates:

-Lady Gaga

-Adele

-Justin Bieber

-Bruno Mars

-Beyonce

-Rihanna

-Ed Sheeran

-Taylor Swift

Not you forgetting the biggest pop star in the world : :reductive:

Exactly. It wouldn't surprise me, her label task now is to get her literally everywhere.

It's Katy, Adele or beyawncé

I'd love for it to be Gaga, Dave could have been influenced by her work with Metallica, she has the vocals to do back up

Well then Taylor Swift must be just as good as them since she has 10 Grammys :giggle:

Or does it only work when you like the artist?

and they must both be better than Gaga.

This does not mean anyone is better than anyone. This was meant to show you that many credible music critics and just people in general don't agree with you. You just came off as selfish for not wanting Gaga to work with them just because you don't like their music.
