The other albums were simply more successful chart wise. EDIT this is also why we saw no Beyoncé song get nominated, but Lemonade get lots. Who cares The BBMA are not prestigious in any way, shape, or form so it's not that big of a deal. And it's not like Gaga would've attended; she's never attended even when nominated.
