You're so right! The fact that the song that spent the most weeks at #1 (One Sweet Day) isn't even remotely winning the poll is really interesting.

This song was inescapable in the summer of 2009  I would get in the car and it would be playing, then I'd go to the grocery store and it would be playing, then I'd go to the swimming pool and they'd be playing it on the radio, and then I'd get back in the car and it would be playing again

I still hear it on the radio all the time. I wasn't surprised when I saw it on the list for longest duration of time at #1.
