It was a quick video shoot because the label crowned Million Reasons as a single very quickly, and honestly, a straightforward ballad like Million Reasons doesn't lend itself to anything too mind blowing visually in the first place. I don't know what Gaga and her team were thinking but it's becoming a common theme every era for there to be wasted opportunities or poor decision making.
