But does that matter? It isn't like he's hiding it unlike, say, Hans Zimmer. He's not stealing others' work, he just gets others to craft his ideas. So he essentially runs an art brand or haus called Koons rather than being the whole package. I don't find very much wrong with that. It's seems like what Gaga and most high profile people do in a way.

Dunno about him being an asshole, though lol

Right after the album cover. Google his first(?) marriage. She was one of the most famous p0rnstars of all time and they made art together that includes seeing his penis lmao

Michelangelo and Rembrandt and so many others had an atelier of students doing the work for them. Like, it is known they didn't even paint some of the paintings they signed. So I don't see why this should be used against Jeff Koons, especially when so many of his works involve technology and so many specialties he doesn't know.

The series is called Made in Heaven :gaycat: there's also really cute suculptures of dogs and flowers (and then having sex) but the main thing are blown up hardcore pics of him ****ing with his ****star wife lmao

What do you have to say about Hans Zimmer though? :oprah:

Hans Zimmer pretty much has ghost writers for the majority of his stuff now. He'll do very select scores for very few movies himself (like for The Dark Knight and other Christopher Nolan stuff). The difference is that he doesn't give credit for the work of his ghost writers As Koons seems to do with the people that make his stuff. He takes credit for it himself. Like, you won't see a documentary of ghost writers working, but you do see the workers in this one.

It's about the transparency of their work. They both operate under a brand with others doing the brunt of the work, but the difference is how it's presented. Koons doesn't pretend he physically did the work, Zimmer does so it's more fraudulent (to me). Also, I feel like a lot of Zimmer's scores are generic while Koons really pushes what he does and innovates. He thinks of new things in his aesthetic or expands it. Zimmer kind of helps perpetuate the bs of Hollywood film scores.

He makes it up with his mind tho. What makes it so bad that someone else's hands make the real-life version. It's not like Giogrio Armani will make all the clothes himself. It's the age we live in that makes this possible and acceptable. I'd rather embrace it than stick with the old.

He doesn't though from what I know. I know people who have interned and worked for him - out of all the artists in NY he is the only one that I hear so openly hated by his former interns and staff.
