And People like your post woaw I can't believe it I don't listen this song either but you don't have to be mad for nothing, you all need to remind you the gaga's messages cause this is not good or funny to mocking a whole culture :/

How am I mocking a whole culture though? Isn't it a fact that you are very behind the 1st world countries when it comes to social/scientific progression/development? Internet used to be a pivilege for most southern americans but now it's finally normalizing over there, one decade after the so called "developed countries". I didn't mock anyone, I just stated the obvious and that you guys are finally becoming present on the online world and being heard, and you clearly have a loud voice (cue the consuela jokes), because there are many of and you're not afraid to be active/comment/participate in this websphere.

I'm the b*tch with the sauce, apparently

Every summer there is a tropical type of song that becomes a huge hit. It's nothing new.

Also, the song and video are

Daddy Yankee is pretty renowned in Latin America. Also the melody and production are enough to bop

Latin people used to play the songs in parties or clubs by Youtube to experience both, song and MVs... so I think it helps a lot to got views

Yeah exactly, now I live in Costa Rica and there's always a tv with the video in every bar or restaurant.. so I guess this is the reason.

there is Spotify here while other countries in Europe are still waiting lol

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

At this point getting even a billion views is not even an achievement it's pretty much an assumed standard for any number one hit :selena: lord I remember back in 2013 so many stans trying to get their fav to have the most views in 24 hours. Because YouTube is so accessible and is also becoming a place people can stream for music, these milestones aren't as big as they use to be :madge: Like think about it Bad Romance was topping at like 170 mil, then in 3 years it's possible to 5x that amount with Gangnam Style

I feel so happy because i am latin and i was expecting years ago that spanish music take over the world like it did in the 2000s, also after Gaga Daddy Yankee is my fav, but i am sad because that mainstream spanish music is **** (and i am being generous) and now everyone think this achievement was because that brat of Justin. But anyway good for it, it would make happy this song to reach the 3 Billion views before any other video (because Gangnam Style is slowing down its views and because i think See you Again is the worst garbbage someone has ever created)

Well, I was trying to learn Spanish, and started listening easy Spanish pop song (for example- Shakira- Tú, Estoy Aquí) when this song was making huge ripples, so naturally I fell in love. Even the rapping part was amazing.

Hated the JB remix with a burning passion.

I'm Brazilian and even the languages - portuguese and Spanish-  has similar words I think it's difficult to learn Spanish because it pronounces.

Anyway, the languange sounds really sexy

Well first I'm European French/Spanish so i don't live in America Latina  but in your post you don't seemed to say it like an exposition of a development more like your mocking them like they just discovered internet from 1 years and that's not true either America Latina are way more developed than you think, Brasil for exemple have a percentage of evolution more high than most europeans countries, it's not that you wrong but your not exact too, If you look closely youtube latin's song got high view since 2013/14 and really Latin culture is way more than just youtube views, Cuca gif or a trend song We got some much to show and I'm happy to see that spanish music become more listened in the world cause really our culture is full of good things, in my country we're all listening spanish since always so it don't shocked me that this song have success

idk i feeling like that about your post, I hope I'm wrong about you apparently I was , cause really you can say whatever you want so why not the good?
