It did but it's kind like after getting half way through the album I'm like ok... I get the point. The Fame Monster is a good example of taking it further it's about the monsters someone encounters when they are famous so there are many ways you can take it. With The Fame it's just that, fame nothing more. Tl;dr it did its job but it was too easy. Uh Red Wine... Convict... Gah Gah...

Zaskar 3,918
There are some fillers, but even those are fun to listen. And Brown Eyes remains one of the best Gaga (considering it's 00's, I should say GaGa) ballad.

Oriane 20,937
This was clearly an album to make it big... There are some major flaws in this album. - The concept is cool but simple and the message is just repeating itself through the album, less songs would have been better. - The tracklist is a mess, like all the singles at the beginning and the fillers after ? - Paparazzi is very good and this is the song that made me love her. But even now I admit that she's done way better since then, her work was still immature. The song is just too simple, the chorus is beautiful but the verses are just ok, and the vocals are too retouched. - Beautiful Dirty Rich is actually very good, it's been a grower for me. Simple but in a good way, catchy and straight. - The singles are what made her famous but come on, they're so basic... I like Just Dance, Lovegame is ok, let's not talk about Poker Face (she's not even singing, I don't know why she performed it and still does it to this day) and Eh Eh... cute but a single ? - There are so fine songs here and there. Paper Gangsta was a grower for me too, the concept and the meaning are good but the end is too long. Brown Eyes was good at the time but it's so weak compared to ballads she did later. I liked Summerboy at the time but now it just sounds like another 2000s basic pop song, and it really aged. - And the rest are fillers, really. I like it rough ? Starstruck ? The Fame ? Money Honey ? And the bonus tracks that are just recycled tracks she did years before ? The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic! Panchecco 17,615
TF on itself isn't as strong as TF+TFM but TFM on itself is for sure stronger than TF so I don't get why you don't want people to consider TFM her biggest album
RAMROD 109,325
I disagree. I don't think people underestimating The Fame. Everyone knows that is her most popular album, hence to many fans it comes off as basic choice whenever somebody talking about Gaga. Fans tend to like albums after The Fame cos they are more intricate and experimental, and not many general listeners would get into, I suppose. Perhaps, it just a bit of elitism. DaddyFranco 604
Well The fame is one of the most basic Gagas record. Its very simple, pop'ish and bland.

If you like BBB, don't worry. It's down there on the ground somewhere. No need to use life alert to save you then from this cataclysmic fall into the filler songs of The Fame. Since TFM was an EP so there were less likely to be filler songs so each one stood out in its own right. I mean some of the production on The Fame was very 2000s pop so it felt just a tiny bit basic like Flo Rida was on Starstruck. All the songs have great lyrics but concept is just obvious it's either about fame, money, or love. The ones are singles are great because they have a slightly more complex meaning but even Just Dance is just about partying. Nothing wrong with that but now her albums are more thought out and aren't 1 dimensional. Well that's just my onion feel free to rebuttal or discuss. It is being intoxicated at a party. I'm like some kind of supernova
