I get it, there is racism in the LGBT community but I mean theres racism everywhere. Its not like adding the colors will bring awareness to something that everyones is already aware of and if you're not aware of it you're just ignorant anyways. This is gonna anger a lot of people because it's tampering with a staple symbol for all LGBT people in Philly. Yes, there are racial issues in the LGBTQ+ community, as with pretty much any community, and just society in general, but this just doesn't make any sense. This doesn't do anything to solve the issue. If anything, this will only divide people more because people will either agree or disagree with their decision to do this. This is just so unnecessary on so many levels that it makes me angry. Now, before you call me a "racist" for not supporting it, it's not that I don't recognize that there is a misrepresentation of colored people in the LGBTQ+ community, but this just doesn't make any sense.
