From a fan of the series, this is really nostalgic and a happy moment for me, seeing that they paid a lot of references to the original. Sure, it's a new style of animation, but I really love it. It looks much like GF and SVTFOE. Aside from Samurai Jack, this looks like it could be one of the best animated series remakes. The original will always have a place in my heart but this one could be right up there too! The new Ducktales premiere this August 12 at 12:00am EST and start airing at September 23, 2017. However I'm a hardcore Disney comics collector and I've spent all my childhood -and now adulthood - collecting stories of Carl Barks, Don Rosa, Marco Rota etc. As a comics collector the style of animation they used here isn't familiar to me but I actually like it! I find the voices of the ducks pretty accurate, especially Scrooge's who was born in Scotland.
