America is a very safe country. We are a huge country (50 different states, soon to be 51) filled with many different types of people. I have always felt safe. Murder and crimes rates are down. We have great security everywhere (like their is security everywhere) and law enforcement that are always at emergencies immediately.

And how do you think Americans view Europe after a terrorist attack every week? I am scared to travel to the UK and France.

It is happening in the rest of the world. Gun violence happens everywhere unfortunately, not just in America.

Well compared to the rest of the world, gun violence is quite extreme in America.

And there's basically a terrorist attack in American every week as well.

You need to widen your view of terrorism. Either way, gun violence is ridiculous in the USA and should not be compared to other countries.

What do you mean "widden my view of terrorism" maybe you should check your facts before spreading lies :oprah:

"Terrorism is a term used in its broadest sense to describe the use of intentionally indiscriminate violence as a means to create terror or fear, in order to achieve a political, religious or ideological aim. It is used in this regard primarily to refer to violence against civilians or non-combatants."

Honestly, as long as we have a Republican controlled Congress and "president", there will never be sensible gun control reform, as long as the NRA and other lobbies can de facto buy policy, there will never be sensible gun control reform.

Only a Democratic platform can fix this, and it will take a long time, unfortunately :smh: We've already proven that no mass gun tragedy is going to inspire congress or anyone in charge to do anything, even if the vast majority of Americans believe in it :smh:

Sorry, but the USA is a bloody mess regarding gun violence and homicides in comparsion to Europe!

In fact, I think your post is ridiculous.

If I am not completely wrong, there have been more than 4.000 people shot dead and thousands of people injured in the USA within the first 100 days of this year.

Go and compare these horrible figures with the statistics from Europe and you will see, that your US-American society has a serious problem with guns and violence in general!

Here is an interesting article I suggest you to read:

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/06/14/upshot/compare-these-gun-death-rates-the-us-is-in-a-different-world.html

Oh, and if you and a lot of other deplorable and ignorant US-Americans are too "scared to travel to the UK and France" because of (rare) terror attacks by Islamic terrorists - how do you actually cope with your daily life in the "gun violence infested" USA?

USA is not a bloody mess. Ridiculous to say. Most shootings occur in a few dangerous big cities. And of course there are more shootings here, the USA is basically 50 countries combined into one. As I stated before, the only gun I have ever seen was on a police officer. I feel very safe in the USA, we have great security everywhere and law enforcement is always here in case of an emergency quickly.
